God's presence is powerful, reassuring, and comforting. Ovid said, "There is a God within us, and we glow when He stirs us." Do you sense His presence and moving in your life? Jesus said, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him" (John 14:23). Our heart is the special dwelling place of God. Isaiah declared, "I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones" (Isa. 57:15). God dwells in heaven above and also in our hearts. Our bodies are the temple of God, a dwelling place for His Spirit (1 Cor. 3:16; 6:19; 2 Cor. 6:16). George Macdonald said, "God's thoughts, His will, His love, His judgments are all man's home. To think His thoughts, to choose His will, to love His loves, to judge His judgments, and thus to know that He is in us, is to be at home." God wants to make His home with us. Do we want God to make His home with us?
